What if your brown bits are more like charred black bits?

My Turkey wings and vegetables really charred. Should I discard the blackened bits? Use drippings from the real turkey day of and incorporate Into gravy? Thanks!

Hi there! I'd check to make sure the wings and veggies don't have a charred taste. If the charred sections taste charred, you can scrape off those bits before proceeding with the gravy. I'd say your plan to incorporate drippings from your turkey the day-of should work!
