im making a weird steak idea on the bbq and need help

im making steaks, i made a marinade, left em overnight for 2 days in the fridge, occasionally taking it out and rubbing the marinade into it, i oured all the contens of the bag, sauce and all into a tinfoil pan thing and i wanna know how long it would take on low heat on a bbq to cook that

I'm afraid cooking the marinade and stesk that way is unsafe.
Need to separate the two, boil the marinade, then recombine to cook the meat.
