Can I totally cheat and use wonton wrappers or similar?

I certainly would. Wonton wrappers are such a wonderful time savers - so convenient. Though I am comfortable with doughs of all kinds, I always use ready-made wonton / dumpling wrappers. ;o)

Absolutely! I always do this because I can't make any kind of dough to save my life! It works perfectly!
