Can I use Goat in place of Lamb?

Could I use this recipe using Goat vs. Lamb? in most cases, I know I can substitute goat for lamb, just wondering if anyone’s done this. Thanks!

I've had nihari that was made with goat, and it was yummy. So far as I understand, nihari can be made with a variety of different meats depending on what is available. I had it with goat, lamb, chicken, and mutton. Can't recommend the mutton, which was pretty stout stuff- but I guess if that's what you have, that's what you'd stew up.
