A question about a recipe: Chocolate Dump-It Cake

If baked in springform pans and made into a two-layer cake, will the final product fit into a normal-sized cake box? Trying to figure out the best way to transport this from NYC to Connecticut.

Yes, definitely -- just keep it cool so the icing doesn't weep!

Springform pans come in MANY sizes.

How big is yours?

Yes -- I assumed you were talking about a 9-inch because that's the closest in size to a tube pan. I wouldn't make it a pan that's any larger than a 9-inch because then it might not fit into your cake box!

Not to fear - got a 9 in. Thanks to you both!
