A question about a recipe: Salmon in Sorrel Sauce

What would be an appropriate substitute for chervil?

Chervil tastes a little anise-y. A few chopped fennel fronds might do. Dill is a natural with salmon but has a really different flavor. Parsley would add the green but not the flavor. Or you could just leave it out.
