A question about a recipe: Blueberry Tart

Would I be able to use oil in lieu of butter in the crust of this tart (for vegan diets). It was fabulous - a keeper. The perfect recipe - easy, high WOW factor and delicious. Thanks

I don't think it will work great, though you could try it with margarine. I think if I were making it vegan, I'd use a more traditional pie crust recipe, with shortening instead of butter. For the topping, however, oil should work alright. Just add it slowly until mixture is desired consistency.
