Can't seem to upload a photo of a recipe

Trying to upload a photo of a recipe and keep getting an error message..."too large". 854kbof a jpeg file. Got it posted to Facebook with no problem. Any ideas?

I suggest you scale the image down 50% and try again. Food52 often has problems handling images.
