Author Notes: So called because, well, look at the photo. I wish I could have uploaded a .wav file to play the music from the original arcade game to go along with it; failing that, you can just hum Weird Al Yankovich's song "Pac-Man", set to the tune of the Beatles' Tax Man. Soon to come: Space Invaders String Beans and Asteroids Artichokes. —wssmom
- 1 pint brussels sprouts
- extra-virgin olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, smashed, skin left on
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Using a paring knife, cut the brussels spouts in half, and then cut out the core of each. This allows the leaves to separate a bit while cooking and get nice and crispy.
- Toss the sprouts with a bit of olive oil, spread on a baking sheet along with the smashed garlic cloves and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Bake 20 minutes or so, until nice and golden. And crispy.
