My Rice Pilaf

Serves 8
- 1 1/2 cup noodles, fine, broken
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup rice, long grain
- 1 onion, medium, chopped
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 1/2 cup water
- 3/4 teaspoons salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dried herb
- Saute noodles in butter until lightly browned.
- Add all remaining ingredients; bring to boil. Cover and simmer til done; about 25 minutes.
