Serves 8 persons

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 medium bananas cut into rings.
  • 1.5 cup flour.
  • 1¼ tsp baking powder.
  • ¼ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt.
  • 100 gram unsalted softened butter.
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 2 large organic eggs.
  • ½ cup milk.
  • 2 tbsp heavy cream.
  • ¼ tsp drops of banana flavor.
  1. ine the base of a cake pan . in a heavy another pan bring sugar to caramelized on low heat. pour the hot caramel into the prepared pan and then top with an even layer banana slices . sift the flour,baking powder, baking soda , salt . with your electric mixer , mix the butter with sugar until fluffy then add eggs gradually,banana flavor ,milk, heavy cream . add the flour gradually and keep mixing. spoon the mixture carefully out over the bananas , smoothing out the top . rest the cake tin on a deep baking tray , pour 1 large hot water int the tray. place in a preheated 180 c to bake for 35 minutes, let the cake to cool completely before serving.
