During yesterday's "Mad Hungry" special, Lucinda talked with Amanda Hesser, NY Times food editor and Merrill Stubbs, chef and food writer about their work on "The NY Times Essential Cookbook" and the blog, Food52, that grew from that experience. For five years, the pair tested over 1,400 recipes for the book which was released this past October.
