Even though many of us are still in limbo due to the pandemic, one thing that remains constant is our need for coffee. It’s a non-negotiable for us, the fuel to start the day, boost our productivity, and keep us going—that is, until it runs cold.

Here’s where travel mugs come in. Yes, we know they’ve got “travel” in the name but they’ll still keep your coffee at the perfect temperature whether you’re working at home or commuting. No more room temperature coffee, or worse—microwaving your mug.

Ahead, the 10 best travel mugs you need when you’re on the go—or just on the couch.

There's nothing more disappointing than a luke warm beverage when it should either be hot or cold! I like to drink on the spot but if you really can't do without having a cup with you why not try this? https://bit.ly/32EQesh

The problem with the mugs that keep your drink hot for 6 hours is that you can't actually drink that drink comfortably for an hour after pouring. I invented a mug to solve that problem: it lets you enjoy your coffee or tea right away, and doesn't let it get cold--the Joeveo Temperfect. I think it should be in this list ;-) !

I don't like these mugs the keep your drink hot for 6 hours. I want to drink it on the way to work! I also would never throw a travel mug of any kind into my bag. That is an invitation to disaster. I have a basic travel mug that I got for free at a conference and it keeps my tea hot for about an hour which is perfect for my commute. It will leak if you turn it upside down but it's fine in the outside pocket of my back sack.

Exactly Liz! People talk a lot about mugs keeping your drink hot for hours, but the flip side of that is that you can't actually enjoy it for an hour while it cools from blazing hot to sippable.

How did S’Well’s triple-walled traveler not make the list. It is the bomb. Also have banged that thing around for a couple years (and it still keeps stuff hot for 6 hours or more and cold for 24 hours or more). It also looks quite nice.

Beware the Yeti. It has been known to leak. In your bag and everywhere.

Also, in a fix...Kleen Kanteen’s are good but only double-walled.

The Stanley Classic One Hand Mug Vacuum! I could write poetry on how perfect this mug is - I bought it years ago, and it has been dropped and thrown into countless bags and never once has it leaked. Also keeps hot coffee and cold coffee at their perfect temperatures for 7 hours, and iced for 30. No better vessel for the magical bean brew.
