If I had to pick one store to furnish my entire home, from the furniture and light fixtures all the way down to what's in my closet, it would, without question, be Anthropologie. And if there's one Anthro product I love more than all the rest (even this positively dreamy green velvet sectional I will forever be saving up for), it's the Capri Blue candle in Volcano.
Other Capri Blue scents are worth trying, too; I especially like its bright, floral Aloha Orchid scent for summer. But you won't find a more delicious, can't-stop-smelling-it scent than Capri Blue's Volcano. It's the same fragrance Anthro burns in all its stores, so if you've ever stepped inside one, you know exactly what I'm talking about. Seriously, if you just say "Capri Blue" and skip "Volcano," everyone will know which scent you're referring to.
The scent fills the room even when I'm not burning a candle. And once it's lit, everything instantly feels more fresh, warm, and relaxing all at once. It's got notes of tropical fruits, lively citrus, and a hint of sugar—not overpoweringly sweet and somehow seems to work all year round.
Even better than the scent itself are the variety of different candle jars it comes in so you can find one that complements your space, as well as non-candle formats like oil diffusers, hand soap, and more. This way, you can surround yourself in Volcano without mixing scents, which is my personal dream come true.
Ah, the candle that started it all. I love the iridescent jar, ornate lid, and long 85-hour burn time. There are several sizes in the same style—including a colossal version with a 250-hour burn time that I've favorited and put on every wish list.
If you prefer something a bit safer for kids and dogs, this reed diffuser gives off constant fragrance without open flames. I have this in my bathroom for 24/7 freshness.
