3 Gorgeous Recipes We Love

April 20, 2012

Each week, we bring you three gorgeous recipes we love from around the web. This week, they're all about ice cream - with strawberries and coconut, with chocolate and mint, and with vanilla and malted milk.

Sara of Sprouted Kitchen shares a recipe for roasted strawberry coconut milk ice cream that will make your mouth water. Brimming with scarlet red strawberries, it looks like the perfect way to welcome spring fruit.

Erin of Yummy Supper made a dangerously delicious mint chip ice cream, which received the seal of approval from her son and brought me back to my favorite childhood ice cream shop, appropriately named More Than Just Ice Cream. There, my go-to flavor of ice cream was, without a doubt, mint chocolate chip.

Megan of A Sweet Spoonful made malted vanilla ice cream with chocolate crackle, a recipe from Bi-Rite's new cookbook, Sweet Cream and Sugar Cones, that will make any ice cream lover jump for joy. The flavor is a no-brainer and, according to Megan, takes very little effort to make.

I'm so excited about these flavor combinations. I have a basic vegan ice cream recipe and I'm always looking for new ways to dress it up. Thanks for the inspiration!
