Sitting here waiting for a midnight pound cake from Orangette to finish baking in its 80 min. journey to a family reunion. Thought I'd sneak in a naughty midnight snack (on a reduction diet)....caught this blog and checked out Buzzfeed.......instantly lost my appetite. Thank you for saving me from myself!!

Reminds me of the time I tried to make carrot cake with purple carrots. I somewhat expected something cool and bright purple, but it looked a lot like that grey ground beef. Urg. Big fail.

you did that too?? I tried purple carrots with my blondie bars.. then promptly deleted them out of the universe before Cooking channel caught sight of them..
