Battle of the Better Chowder

August 23, 2012

Living along the East coast promises the palate with quite the selection of fresh and seasonal seafood dishes. But whether you're in Cape Cod or New York City, there's nothing quite like a bowl of clam chowder. But do you prefer New England's creamy consistency, or Manhattan's tomato-red brothy base? The argument over who makes the better chowder is over 100 years old! Whole Foods Market Cooking has the Clam Chowder history, as well as both recipes to share with us. We think a taste-off is in order.
