My grill is out of commission, and I have a flat iron steak I'd like to make. Will it come out okay pan fried? Any other ideas for preparatio

I use a grill pan to get marking and then to the oven to get the doneness desired.

I sear flat iron steaks in a very hot skillet, then pop in the oven briefly to finish to med. rare - only takes a few minutes since they're thin, so keep an eye on them. Works well.
