Food52 X Finish Giveaway (The “Giveaway”) Official Rules

Sweepstakes Period:

The Sweepstakes starts on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at 9:00 AM Eastern Time (“ET”) and ends exactly at 11:59 PM ET on Friday, November 10, 2023 or until giveaway items have sold out (the "Giveaway Period"). Sponsor (as hereinafter defined) is the official time keeper for this Giveaway.

Sponsor:

The Giveaway is sponsored by Finish Detergent, 399 Interpace Parkway, Parsippany, NJ 07054 (the “Sponsor”).

Eligibility:

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE RESTRICTED OR PROHIBITED BY LAW. THIS PROMOTION IS IN NO WAY SPONSORED, ENDORSED OR ADMINISTERED BY, OR ASSOCIATED WITH INSTAGRAM. MULTIPLE ENTRY DEADLINES APPLY.

The Giveaway is open to any United States resident. The Giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or other media properties. You are providing your information to the Sponsor. The following individuals are not eligible to win the Sweepstakes: (a) employees of (i) Sponsor or its related companies, (ii) Food52, (iii) Sponsor’s vendors, and (iii) suppliers, importers, wholesalers, distributors and retailers and, in each case, any of its or their respective affiliates, printers, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies or any other company or individual involved in the creation, development, or implementation of the Giveaway; and (b) any members of their immediate families (spouse, parents and step-parents, siblings and step-siblings, and children and step-children) or households (people who share the same residence at least three (3) months out of the year). Entries for the Giveaway must be received prior to the expiration of the Giveaway Period. This Giveaway is subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. VOID IN ALASKA, HAWAII AND WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW. By submitting an entry, entrants agree to abide by these Official Rules and all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations that govern the Giveaway.

How to Enter

You may enter the Giveaway by performing the following steps:

(1.) Visit the Giveaway landing page.

(2.) Submit your name, email address, mailing address, and answer four questions through the email capture form on the landing page.

One entry per person. Multiple entries from the same IP address will not be counted.

By submitting an entry, entrant agrees that Released Parties (as defined below) are not responsible for any unauthorized use of such entry by third parties.

Sponsor is not responsible for technical difficulties, telephone or cell phone service disruptions or other equipment or service issues which might affect a person's ability to submit a name, email address, mailing address, and answer (4) questions to qualify or the ability of the Sponsor to notify the winners. Sponsor also assumes no responsibility for lost, late, damaged, misdirected, illegible, incomplete, incorrect or inaccessible entries or other Giveaway materials, all of which are void.

Proof of submission of an entry does not constitute proof of receipt of entry by Sponsor or its agents. Sponsor reserves the right to void all entries made through any third-party website or service, or through any robotic, automatic, mechanical, programmed or similar entry duplication method, and to disqualify any individual using such a website/service or entry method.

All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned.

Agreement To Official Rules:

By participating in the Giveaway, entrant fully and unconditionally agrees to and accepts these Official Rules and accepts these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and legally binding in all matters related to the Giveaway. Such decisions include but are not limited to whether an entrant’s entry is in compliance with these Official Rules and is eligible for the Giveaway. By participating and/or accepting a prize, entrants, winners, and guests acknowledge and agree that this Giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter and agree to release and hold harmless Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, Sponsor, Sponsor’s advertising and promotional agencies, and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, equity holders, agents, consultants, independent contractors, successors, assigns, employees, managers, officers, directors and other representatives (“Released Parties”) from any and all liability for loss, harm, damage, injury, cost, or expense whatsoever, including, without limitation, property damage, personal injury, and/or death that may occur in connection with, preparation for, travel to, or participation in the Giveaway, or possession, acceptance, and/or use or misuse of prize or participation in any Giveaway-related activity, including, but not limited to, any claims based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy, and merchandise delivery. Sponsor shall not be responsible for any cancellations, delays, diversions, substitutions, or omissions whatsoever by any transportation companies or any other persons providing any services to winner, including any results thereof, such as changes in services or location necessitated by same. Sponsor is not responsible if any part of a Giveaway prize cannot be awarded due to acts of God, acts of war, natural disasters, weather, or acts of terrorism. Sponsor shall not be liable for any loss or damage to personal belongings. Entrants who do not comply with these Official Rules or who attempt to interfere with this Giveaway in any way shall be disqualified.

Terms Of Entry:

Entering an entry in the Giveaway grants Sponsor and its designees (including Food52) the right to use, publish, adapt, edit and/or modify an entry in any way, in whole or in part, and to use such entry, and any ideas or concepts contained therein, in commerce and in any and all media now known or hereafter discovered, worldwide, without limitation or compensation to the entrant and without right of notice, review or approval of any such use of the entry.

Prizing:

One-hundred and fifty winners will be randomly selected to win a custom holiday helper kit. All costs and expenses not specifically described in these Official Rules are the responsibility of each winner. Third party vendor will fulfill all shipments of the prize. The vendor will not replace any lost, mutilated or stolen items within the prize. The prize is not transferable.

Prizing is to be solely provided by Sponsor to the one hundred and fifty randomly selected winners. The winners will not be notified but will receive the prize at the given mailing address. The Sponsor is not responsible for any delays of the prize.

Taxes:

All local, state and federal taxes incurred by accepting a Prize will be the sole responsibility of the winner. Any person winning over US$600.00 in prizes from Sponsor during any one (1) year period will receive an IRS Form 1099 at the end of the calendar year, and a copy of such form will be filed with the IRS.

Use Of E-Mail Addresses:

By participating in this Giveaway, an entrant agrees to opt-in to receive e-mail communications from the Sponsor.

Selection Of Winners:

Winners will be selected at random from entrants. The one-hundred and fifty winners will be selected from all eligible entrants received during the Giveaway Period. The selections will be made on or about November 11, 2023 and December 31, 2023. Odds of winning the Giveaway depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Giveaway Period.

Grand Prize will only be delivered to addresses within the continental United States.

Release:

Unless prohibited by law, as a condition of entry, entrant grant consent to Food52, Sponsor, and each of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, agents, consultants, independent contractors, successors, assigns, and other representatives to use such entrant’s name, likeness, photograph, voice, biographical information and/or such entrant’s entry for publicity or advertising in any media or manner, without further payment, consideration, notice or approval and without geographic or time limitation. All documents must be returned by potential winners within one (1) day of notification that such entrant is a potential winner. No potential winner will be an official winner until such entrant’s required documentation has been returned and eligibility has been formally verified by Sponsor. If any potential winner fails to comply with these Official Rules and/or to submit the required documentation within the designated time period, he/she will be automatically disqualified and the Prize may be awarded to an alternate winner.

Terms And Conditions

If a prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable or if an entrant is found to be ineligible or declines acceptance of a prize for any reason, such potential winner forfeits all rights to the prize and an alternate winner may be selected (in Sponsor’s sole discretion).

Winner accepts sole responsibility for any miscellaneous costs relating to acceptance of prize.

Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be substituted. Prizes have no cash value if not used.

Food52 and/or Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Giveaway or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or those of any other promotion or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.

Sponsor shall have the right, in its sole discretion, to abbreviate, modify, suspend, cancel or terminate the Giveaway at any time without notice or further obligation.

Disputes:

In the event of a dispute as to any winner, the person who owns the winning e-mail address will be deemed the winning entrant. Potential winners may be required to show proof of identification.

Governing Law:

All disputes and questions regarding the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or concerning the rights and obligations of any participant and/or Food52 and/or the Sponsor, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions that would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than New York. The invalidity or un-enforceability of any provision of these Official Rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. If any provision of these Official Rules is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable, these Official Rules shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or unenforceable provision was not contained there.

By submitting your name, e-mail address, mailing address to the email capture on the Giveaway landing page, entrant is agreeing to comply with and abide by all Official Rules. Food52 and/or Sponsor reserve the right to disqualify any entrants or winners at any point during or after Giveaway Period if they are not in compliance with the above Official Rules.
