We love to cook. But that doesn’t mean we always love to meal plan and grocery shop. Some days, we even wish we had a meal-planning, grocery-shopping magician to do all that for us—so we could spend less time waiting in line at the register, more time waiting for those brownies to cool. (You, too?)

That’s why we partnered with our friends at Plated. Together, we picked out some of our favorite Food52 recipes and customized them to make your December a little easier (and cheesier). Say, pesto penne with fresh mozzarella. Or, mustardy chicken with peppers and tomatoes. The ingredients and instructions are all delivered right to your door. Then you get to do the fun part: the slicing and dicing, salting and stirring, serving and sharing, oohing and aahing.

Just save room for dessert. That’s another reason we get along so well with Plated—they have a sweet tooth, just like us. Think: recipes like creamy lime pudding and chocolate–peanut butter cookies, all within a Wednesday night’s reach. Now that’s something to celebrate.
