LAMB CURRY

Ingredients

  • MARINADE
  • ½ Cup Yoghurt
  • Pinch of salt
  • Pinch of Turmeric
  • MIXED PASTE
  • 1TSP Ginger
  • 1 TSP Garlic
  • ½ TSP Turmeric Paste
  • OTHER INGREDIENTS
  • 300 grams Lamb
  • 1 Diced Onion
  • 2 TBS Oil
  • 1 Chopped Tomato
  • ½ TSP Turmeric
  • 1 Piece Cinnamon
  • 1 Cardamom
  • ¼ TSP Anise
  • 1 Pottato cut cubed
  • 1 carrot cut cubed

Directions

  1. Marinade Lamb overnight
  2. Cook onion in oil until light brown
  3. Add paste and cook until you can smell the aroma of the spices
  4. Add tomatoes and chilli powder and stir
  5. Add lamb and marinade and casserole for about 2 hours
  6. 6. Add potatoes and carrot half way through cooking time
  7. Cover and cook at low flame till done
