Author Notes
I love the strange tang of tamarind. It's plenty easy to find in here, in any of the Mexican markets. I had a bag with no forseen purpose in the pantry. I started by shelling the pods, then steeping the gooey fruit in hot water. The result was tamarind water plus pulp. I separated the water from the pulp and used some of the water as a flavor for my "beer". It's not what you think! —midnitechef
