Author Notes

What Dad doesn’t like a cold one? Try making a michelada (mee-cha-LAH-dah) – a beer drink invented in Mexico, but becoming more and more popular here in the States.

The meaning of the name is subject to debate, but it has been said to come from “mi chela helada” - slang for "my cold beer". Most refreshing on a hot day. —Loulies
