Author Notes

You know those mornings when your kids wake up and one wants eggs, one wants pancakes, and another wants just sausage and juice? I do. After a while I got sick of catering to my kids' specific breakfast wants... This recipie solves it all. <3 —Whitneyjo

What You'll Need
Ingredients
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 5 eggs
Directions
  1. 1.Combine milk with vinegar in a medium bowl and set aside for 5 minutes to "sour".
  2. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large mixing bowl. Whisk egg and butter into "soured" milk. Pour the flour mixture into the wet ingredients and whisk until lumps are gone.
  3. Heat large skillet on high. Pour about 1/4 of what you would for a normal pancake.
  4. Crack and add the egg to the top of the pancake. Top it off like a sandwich.
  5. Flip a little longer than a normal pancake. [because of the egg]
  6. Put on a plate, drizzle some syrup, sprinkle some powdered sugar, add your sausage and juice and you have a wonderful breakfast that will satisfy everyone! {it's okay if the egg is runny... if you dont want it so runny put the whole pancake in the microwave for about 30 seconds or until your egg is how you want it.}
