Author Notes

This recipe is safe for both Giants and Patriots fans to consume, since it originated from a Jets fan. See the Jets hat in the photo. Much to my family's dismay, my brother Dave defected from our Giants bloodline and became a Jets fan. However, he is a great cook and makes a mean chili. This chili can be a meal or an appetizer for the Super Bowl, depending how you serve it. —The Communal Pantry
