My roast was a tad salty, but tasty. I didn't taste the sweetness, but did taste a lingering bit of heat. The combo of chipotle and maple was so good! That said...I ruined half of the roast by over-cooking. My roast would not fit into my round Crock Pot slow cooker, so I had to cut into two pieces. I left in the cooker way too long, and the bottom portion was over-cooked. Thanks for the recipe!

Making this...! Wondering what kind of salt? Assuming g table salt as not specified as kosher or coarse sea?

want to clarify that the pork remains in the foil (wrapped) inside the crockpot.

uh oh, this is it. this is the one. ya' had me at chipotle, but then you had to go and add maple.... I'm surely a goner now...... :-} th.you!
