Tuna Noodle Casserole

Mom's simple, easy recipe.


Ingredients

  • 12 ounce egg noodles
  • 1/4 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon margarine
  • 2 tablespoon flour
  • 10 3/4 ounce cream of mushroom soup
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 12 ounce tuna, drained
  • 1/8 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/4 cup panko bread crumbs

Directions

  • Step 1

    Cook noodles. Drain and set aside.

  • Step 2

    In saucepan, cook onion in margarine until tender, but not brown.

  • Step 3

    Stir in flour, soup, and milk into saucepan.

  • Step 4

    Cook and stir mixture until thick and bubbly.

  • Step 5

    Carefully stir in tuna, noodles, and cheddar cheese.

  • Step 6

    Sprinkle Parmesan cheese and bread crumbs on top.

  • Step 7

    Bake uncovered in a 375 degree oven for 20-25 minutes.
