The combination of honey, mint and lime is the best way I know to brighten up an early- or late-season melon. Use a mild honey such as orange blossom. —Lucy Mercer

Ingredients

3 cups
cantaloupe cubes

lime, juiced

2 tablespoons
honey

1 teaspoon
minced mint

1 pinch
salt
Directions

Place cantaloupe in bowl. In a measuring cup, whisk together lime juice, honey and pinch salt. Pour dressing over melon, then sprinkle with mint. Stir together and serve.
