Author Notes
I had to attempt to make this martini from Lure Fishbar in NYC. I accidentally may have ordered two because it was so delish! —Emily Weinberger
Ingredients
-
1/2 cup
Strawberries, halved, greens removed
-
1 tablespoon
sugar
-
1/2
juice of a lemon
-
5 ounces
your favorite vodka (I used Kettle One)
Directions
-
1. Add the strawberries, sugar and lemon juice to the bowl of a food processor or blender.
-
2. Blend until the fruit is completely pureed and liquid. You can strain into a separate bowl if you do not like the seeds (or if you use a different kind of fruit that has skin such as grapes or figs)
-
3. Combine the fruit juice and vodka into a drink shaker with a few ice cubes and shake for 30 seconds until cold and well combined.
-
4. Pour into your favorite martini glass (or a high ball glass if you are like Adam and cannot drink out of a martini glass without spilling).

You can completely swap out the strawberries in this drink and go with grapes, figs, clementines, berries, whatever your little heart desires.
