Being a college student on a budget who works as well, I thrive off easy and wallet friendly recipes. This recipe is ridiculously simple, so simple I'm not sure if I can even call it a recipe. Whether for breakfast, a snack or for dessert, this recipes is delicious and guilt free. I always have mine with a cup of tea; Irish Breakfast, specifically. Pasteurized honey can be used but it does not have any of the health benefits of raw honey. Fresh berries, as well, can be used but it doesn't create the same taste without the juice of the thawed frozen berries and cream being mixed. Feel free to mess with the ingredient amounts below, I just listed my preferences. Easily made vegan if the honey is replaced with agave and the cream either omitted or switched with a vegan equivalent.

What You'll Need
Ingredients
  • 1/2 tablespoon Raw Honey
  • 1/4 cup Whipping Cream
  • 1 1/2 cups Frozen Mixed Berries, Thawed
Directions
  1. In a microwavable bowl, melt the raw honey in 10 second increments. It usually only takes about 10 seconds but if you choose to use more honey than I do, it might take longer to melt. You want the honey melted, but not too hot or you could curdle the cream.
  2. Mix the whipping cream into the honey. The honey will mix better if the cream did not just come straight from the refrigerator.
  3. Pour the honey and cream mixture on top of the berries and try to breathe between spoonfuls. G
