I like muffins. I like to bake them, I like to eat them and I like to make differt types of muffins. Wholesome ones to bring to work or school or more sweeter ones to have with my evening tea. Love all the cute little liners and wrappers you can buy. These ones is Martha Stewart craft. —myfoodpassion

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 cups Quick oats
  • 1 1/4 cups All purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon bakingpowder
  • 3/4 teaspoon bakingsoda
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup sweetend applesauce
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 1/4 cup quick oats
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 400. Line a muffin tin with cups. In a large bowl whisk together the dry ingredients. In another bowl whisk together the wet ingredients. Add the wet to the dry ingredients and slowly stir until just combined. Do not overmix. Fill muffins cups with batter, 3/4 full.
  2. Make the topping by mixing all the ingredients together. Sprinkle over the muffin batter. Bake for 15-18 minutes. A inserted toothpick should come out clean. Transfer to wire rack to cool.
