I finally got around to making these on a whim, and wow — so simple, delicious, and wholesome! In lieu of raw almonds, I incorporated toasted walnuts since that’s what I happened to have on hand and am pleased with the result. I kept them in the freezer (considering it’s the height of summer) and love how they melt in your mouth. Would make a lovely base for ice cream sandwiches and other frozen delights!
