Broccoli and Cauliflour Casserole

Serves: 4

  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1/4 cup margarine
  • 1.2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese
  • 3/4 cup cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 stalk broccoli
  • 1 stalk of cauliflour
  • 1 sliced onion
  1. Microwave broccoli, cauliflour and sliced onion for 3 minutes in a casserole dish.
  2. Make Cream Sauce by mixing flour and 1/4 cup of melted margarine together. Add milk until the sauce thickens. Remove and add cream cheese. Mix together. Spread over vegetables. Grate cheddar cheese over top.
  3. Mix bread crumbs with 1 tbsp of margarine and spread over top.
  4. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 1/2 hour.
