Nirvana Shake

Author Notes: Potent compounds in the wasabi paste inflame your nostrils, and, when rapidly imbibed, the ice slurry induces a brain freeze by chilling the capillaries in your sinuses. These two effects combine to numb the lower brow, and release your third eye from its cage of flesh.

Though I do not often partake in the consumption of wasabi, I do very much enjoy liquor and all relevant drinks. I was very pleased by the kick this drink gave (as it reminded me of a shot of ouzo) but also with the comfort of a summertime smoothie. In the near future, this recipe will most assuredly make a reappearance in my home. Thanks!
