Fool Proof Grilled Skirt Steak

Always a favorite, easy to make and grilling is a snap. Does not require lots of hours to marinate and tastes great.

Serves: 4

  • 1 pound Skirt Steak
  • 1 dash Salt
  • 1 dash Fresh cracked or chefs grind black pepper
  • 1 handful Emerils' Original Essence
  • 1 Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 dash Garlic Powder
  1. Liberally brush both sides of the steak with Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Liberally shake on the following: Garlic powder, Emeril's essence, salt and pepper. Let sit at room temperature for at least 30 minutes to One Hour.
  2. Heat your grill. Cook steak about 3-4 minutes per side until medium rare. Remove tent with aluminum foil for about five minutes to rest. Then cut in thin slices against the grain and on a bias. Serve at once.
