Coconut Crusted Basa

Real Good healthy fish recipe. —Carol Sarah Wyant

What You'll Need
  • 4 Basa Fillets
  • 1 cup unsweetened Coconut
  • 2/3 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon Curry Powder
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 each tablespoons Butter & Olive Oil
  • 1 egg + 1 Tbsp Water
  1. Dip Fish one piece at a time into 1/3 cup flour, shake off excess. Then beat egg and water together. In a seperate bowl mix remaining flour with coconut and spices. Dip floured fish into egg mixture then the cconut mixture.
  2. In a fry pan hear oil and butter together. Once hot add the fish until browned on both sides. Serve with rice and beans.
