This is a last-minute somewhat salty gravy substitute which can be used for beef or chicken.

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/4 soy sauce

  1. Melt soy sauce and butter together in glass microwave-proof measuring cup in a microwave for 30 seconds 100%. Your microwave may require less time.
  2. Serve at room temperature. Passes as gravy when there is no hope of any. I have used with turkey believe it or not. Also in turkey open-faced sandwiches. Do not serve in the glass measuring cup. Treasure your secret!
