"Don't be Bleu" cheese noodles

Author Notes: A great side dish that's as easily paired with Thanksgiving turkey as rotisserie chicken, grilled steak, baked pork chops or sauteed shrimp, it is a 6-ingredient party in your mouth (and you've probably got most of the ingredients in your fridge and pantry! Pualani

Serves: 4-6 or just 1 hearty appetite:)


  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 head of crushed fresh garlic
  • 1 handful crumbled bleu cheese (can substitute your preferred sharp cheese)
  • 1 splash lemon juice
  • 2 shots whipping cream
  • 1 packet wide egg noodles (or substitute your favorite like penne)


  1. In a large saute pan, melt butter, add garlic, lemon juice and bleu cheese and whipping cream. Add cooked egg noodles to pan and toss to cover noodles. I like to add a splash of balsamic or red wine if I have it. It's great with grilled veggies added or any kind of meat, poultry or seafood. Serve and enjoy!
