- 1 pear Asian pear
- 1 whole vanilla beans
- dash cayenne pepper
- 1 dried or fresh garden chili
- sprig rosemary
- sprig lemongrass
- slice pears, add all ingredients, slow simmer in water to cover half the pears, 20 minutes
- put in quart jar
- boil jars using favorite canning method
- store in your pantry
- increase the recipe according to how many pears you have ready
