Author Notes
I may have a bit of an obsession with figs- so when an opportunity came about to throw some in one of my favorite cookie recipes... let's just say I was a little more than excited.
With the Jewish holiday of Purim coming up there's a lesson that is taught through the costumes and these silly triangle cookies. It is the challenge of finding the hidden meaning, the good, and what to appreciate in each of our lives.
So give the challenge to your family, friends, and the friendly neighbor- these delicate and sweet hamantashens have a secret waiting to be found within the dough.
Enjoy them! —Mikhayla
