Anchovy Aioli

Author Notes: I created this as a dip to enjoy with the leaves of an artichoke while I was cooking the hearts into this artichoke and fava bean stew: http://food52.com/recipes.... It is equally good on roasted sweet potatoes or cauliflower or spread on toast for a killer steak sandwich with arugula or similar. savorthis

Makes: 1/2 cup (ish)

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup mayo
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon anchovy paste (or 1 fillet chopped)
  • 1/2 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 teaspoon parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 small squirt Sriracha

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients well. It is best if you let the flavors marry a little, but is good right away too.
