Salmon Burger

This is a juicy burger made with chopped skinless salmon and served fully loaded —

  • Makes 5-6 burgers
  • 2 pounds skinless salmon
  • 1/2 medium vidalia onion
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3 tablespoons matzo meal or flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
  • 1 teaspoon ancho chile powder
  • 1/2 cup bbq sauce
In This Recipe
  1. Chop salmon in the food processor into small chunks
  2. Add finely chopped onion, eggs, matzo meal and seasonings
  3. Mix all ingredients until completely incorporated
  4. Form into 6 oz patties
  5. Wrap each patty in wax paper and refrigerateor a few hours
  6. Cook the patties on a hot grill
  7. Serve with chipotle mayonnaise, caramelized onions, sautéed mushrooms, homemade pickles and sliced beefsteak tomatoes.
