Author Notes: Everyone loves guacamole, this recipe adds a great freshness with a hint of spice and what better way to conserve than serving in the avocado shell!Beth Reed

Serves: 4

  • 2 Avocados
  • 1 Large tomato
  • 1 Lime
  • 1 Clove of garlic
  • 1 Small red onion
  • 1/2 Jalapeño
  1. Finely chop the onions, garlic, jalapeño, and tomato and combine with the scooped out avocado in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Mash with a fork or use a potato masher until creamy, add salt and lime juice to taste.
  3. Serve in the shelled out avocado cups with tortilla chips and raw veggies and dip away!
