Author Notes

There are many ways in which you can use our wonderful halva spreads -- be it smeared on toast for breakfast, with your fruit for a nutritious mid-day snack, alongside your favorite cheese as an appetizer, or spooned straight from the jar to satisfy your sweet tooth.

However, this summer I found myself enjoying Brooklyn Sesame halva spreads in smoothies. They make a great on-the-go breakfast on a hot summer day or a refreshing afternoon snack. My favorite is a "Tropical Desert” smoothie -- it is as delicious and refreshing as it sounds! —BrooklynSesame

Being smoothie, healthy stuff and deliciousness fanatic, this recipe is something out of this world! Have never ever had anything this awesome and amazing. I did my first one on Monday, with Pistachio Halva Brooklyn Sesame, and i cannot get enough of it. It became my breakfast, lunch and dinner. For someone who is extremely active and works out a lot, I can give this smoothie billions points as it provides necessary energy that lasts forever, doesn't make you feel full during work out, and is full of healthy ingredients. Everyone must try it!
