Author Notes: Adapted from James Wiley’s 1932, The Art of Mixing. He says: Collect the yolk of one uncooked egg and add 1/3 Anisette, 1/3 Curacao and 1/3 Brandy. Chill with a freezing glance, scramble the ingredients thoroughly, strain – Good Night!Robert Iulo

Makes: 1

  • 1 ounce Anisette
  • 1 ounce Cointreau
  • 1 ounce Brandy
  • 1 egg yolk
  1. Shake with ice and strain into cocktail glass.
