Easy Teriyaki Sauce

Author Notes: Adapted from a recipe that had the sauce in it (from an unknown site), I just tweaked it so I didn't have to make the rest of the recipe and so I could use the sauce for other dishes. Kristina's Cooking

Makes: 1/2 cup of sauce

  • 1/4 cup Sake
  • 1/4 cup Low Sodium Soy Sauce
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Mirin
  1. Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil and let simmer until slightly reduced (approximately 5 minutes).
  3. Take off the heat, and let cool. Service with your favorite meats or tofu.
