Author Notes: if you like it with ginger, if you like it with some hotness, if you like it a little bit frisky..... look no further, and get your vodka out the freezer cos it's time to crack out the bikini ninja. —Melanie
Makes a good afternoon
- 7 birds eye chillies
- 1 cup caster sugar
- 1 cup water
- 5 sprigs mint
- 500 milliliters vodka
- more mint leaves.
- Infuse your vodka with the chillies, do this approx 12 hours before needed. cut a couple of the chillies in half to intensify flavour. WARNING. if chillies are left in bottle for days/weeks it becomes a lethal substance.
- combine water & sugar in a saucepan, and disolve sugar. once sugar is dissolved add ginger and mint sprigs & and simmer to infuse, approx 10mins. Remove the mint (ginger can be left in depending on how 'ginger' you are)
- mix equal parts ginger mint sugar syrup with chilli vodka. top up with lemonade or soda. garnish with lime and mint get comfy & enjoy repeat till satisfied & ninja like
