This drink has the vinegar-y tang of kombucha, without the cringe-inducing price tag. Of course, the ultimate poor man's kombucha would be to make your own, but this is faster and less work, and has a charm all its own. —linzarella

Ingredients
  • 1 splash Apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1.75 cups water
Directions
  1. Combine ingredients in a glass, stir well, and drink up!

I'm so glad you entered this one! For the "other" sweetener, can you use plain ol' sugar?

Absolutely! I've used plain sugar, maple syrup, honey...whatever I have around. I started switching it out with stevia sometimes because I became pretty addicted to this drink and the sugar started to add up.
