What You'll Need
Ingredients
  • 1 apple,cored and chopped
  • 2 kiwi fruits,peeled and chopped
  • 2 handfuls spinach
  • 0.5 cm pieces ginger
  • 200-300 milliliters mineral water
  • 1 dash lemon
  • 1 small leaf of aloe vera(optional)
  • few raisins or dates for extra sweetness(optional)
Directions
  1. Place all the ingredients in a blender and whiz until smooth.
  2. To add aloe vera gel to this recipe,trim ends of the leaf,run the knife down the sides to remove prickly edges,slice the leaf vertically down the middle,scoop the gel with a spoon to a small colander,being careful not to scoop the green skin and the yellow residue(called latex),situated just under the flesh,as it has tends to have a laxative effect(and shouldn’t be eaten in high doses).Rinse it generously with cold water and add to the blender.
