Strawberry Oatmeal Breakfast Shake

Author Notes: A quick & easy vegan breakfast smoothie, that's creamy, delicious, and substantial enough to carry you through until lunch.

Serves: 1


  • 1 cup strawberries
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tablespoon ground flax
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon unsweetened coconut flakes

  1. Add everything to your blender and blend until smooth
  2. Alternately, add the oats to the blender first and grind them fine. Then add the rest of the ingredients and blend until smooth
